Mooi Vlaanderen

Welcome at
Mooi Vlaanderen

Welcome at Mooi Vlaanderen, in the southernmost part of Zeeland. A place for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists, beachgoers and nature lovers.

We offer holiday homes for 2 persons (1 bedroom) all year round and in the months of July & August we also welcome families (up to a maximum of 5 persons + baby).

Mooi Vlaanderen is a good starting point to visit the beaches (10 kilometers from here) and the cities of Bruges, Ghent, Middelburg, Vlissingen and Goes. There are many small picturesque villages in the region and a good restaurant is never far away. Cyclists and hikers enjoy the beautiful nature, the creeks and the walking and cycling route along the coast.

Mooi Vlaanderen is quietly situated between meadows and fields. Oostburg is only 5 minutes by car and there you will find all kinds of stores (drugstore, cheese, ice cream, restaurants, clothes, flowers etc.) and 4 supermarkets. On Wednesday there is a market in the center of the village.

We hope to welcome you in this beautiful and relaxed part of the Netherlands.

  • Food & Drinks

In Breskens, Sluis, and Cadzand, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, and the beach pavilions are open all year round. Our favorite is bistro In den Koning, located in Waterlandkerkje, just a bike ride away from Mooi Vlaanderen. In den Koning is also a great choice if you have dietary requirements.

  • Picking flowers

Within walking distance of Mooi Vlaanderen, you’ll find a flower picking garden, an ice cream farm, and a small farm shop with local Zeeland products. We’ve mapped out a lovely walking route, which can also be cycled with a small adjustment.

  • Sluis, Gent or Brugge?

In the mood for shopping or wandering through a UNESCO World Heritage city with stunning historic buildings? Ghent and Bruges are both less than a 45-minute drive away. You’ll find more information in the holiday home.

  • Surroundings

The surroundings of Mooi Vlaanderen are perfect for a walk or bike ride. A popular route is the coastal cycling path, but the creek area between Oostburg and Aardenburg is also a stunning place to explore by bike. We’ve collected a range of cycling and walking routes for our guests.

  • Will you find a shark tooth?

If you look carefully, you can find shark teeth and other fossils on the beaches of the municipality of Sluis. In the holiday home, you’ll find a map showing all the beaches and beach pavilions.
